This guide explains how the “View on Amazon” button appears to customers based on the region settings you configure in the Linkr app.


1. Region-Based Button Display (Show View on Amazon Button based on Customer’s Region)

When you activate a product for a specific Amazon region, the button will be shown only to customers visiting from that region.

How to enable this:

  1. Activate the product for the desired Amazon region in the Linkr app.

  2. Add the Linkr app block to your theme.

  3. Under Force Marketplace, select Default and Click Save.


With this setup, customers will see the “View on Amazon” button only if they are located in an activated region.

Example:

  • If you activate the product for Amazon US, visitors from the United States will see → View on Amazon (US) 

  • If you activate the same product for multiple regions (US, UK, CA, AU), the app will automatically display the correct button based on the customer’s IP location:

    • Visitor from Canada → View on Amazon (CA)

    • Visitor from United Kingdom → View on Amazon (UK)


2. Show One Amazon Region’s Button in Additional Countries

You can activate a product for one Amazon region and choose additional countries where you want the same button to appear.


How to enable this:
Activate the product for your desired Amazon region, then add the additional countries under “Show in Countries” for that region in the settings.

Example

If you activate the product for the United States region but also want customers from Canada or Australia to see the same “View on Amazon (US)” button, you can add those countries in the settings.


Visitors from the countries you select will also see the “View on Amazon (US)” button:

  • Visitor from the US → View on Amazon (US)

  • Visitor from Canada → View on Amazon (US)


This feature is helpful when you want a single Amazon region to serve customers from multiple countries.


3. Fixed Marketplace Button (Show the Same Button to All Visitors Worldwide)

The Fixed Marketplace option allows you to display the same Amazon region button to every customer, regardless of their location. This is useful when you want all visitors to be redirected to a single Amazon marketplace.


How to enable this:

Activate the product for the desired Amazon region, then in the Linkr app block, select the appropriate marketplace under Force Marketplace and click Save.

Once enabled, all visitors worldwide will see the same Amazon marketplace button on products activated with the Linkr app.

Example

If you activate the product for the Canada region and select amazon.ca under Force Marketplace in the Linkr app block:

Visitors from Canada, UK, US, Australia, India, or any other country will all see → View on Amazon (CA)


This ensures all customers are redirected to the same Amazon marketplace. You can also add multiple Fixed Marketplace buttons if you want to display more than one marketplace option to all visitors.
